An Unforgettable NYCWFF Evening at As You Are Brooklyn

On Friday, October 18, the God’s Love We Deliver community came together for a truly electrifying evening at As You Are Brooklyn. Hosted by resident Chef Camille Becerra, and our dear friend and Culinary Council member Chef Amanda Freitag, the evening was part of the Bank of America Dinner Series at this year’s Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival (NYCWFF), an exquisite celebration of fine wine, artisan food, and the incredible work we do together at God’s Love.

We were thrilled to be joined by so many special members of our God’s Love family, including Legacy Society members, Golden Heart Society members, and some of our dedicated staff and long-time volunteers. The dinner provided a unique opportunity to reconnect, celebrate, and acknowledge the impact we make as a community.

The evening opened with remarks from Camila Gomez, our Policy & Planning Manager, who highlighted the amazing success of NYCWFF. Now in its 17th year, the festival has raised over $14 million for its charitable partners—a testament to the power of generosity.
