On Wednesday, November 6, God’s Love We Deliver received an award from Elevance Health in recognition for our service to Veterans via our CONNECTED Program. God’s Love would like to thank Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Dr. Mark Levy, President and CEO, Jonathan Ciprian, Director of Strategic Initiatives (VETS NY Chapter Lead), Ranette Hynds, Community Manager, Elevance Health, and Melissa Doreson, Communication Advisor, Medicaid, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
The event, held in a festive and beautiful venue, included a lively performance by The American Bombshells.
CONNECTED is God’s Love We Deliver’s program for U.S. Veterans. We serve Veterans living with a mental health condition, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, substance use disorder, and depression, along with our other qualifying diagnoses. One of the pillars of this innovative program is building community through education and outreach.
Part of becoming a trusted resource for Veterans is identifying other agencies and collaborating with them and building a community with shared information and resources. God’s Love is so proud to say we share this commitment to community-building with Elevance, and many other Veteran-supporting agencies.
We are honored to receive ongoing support from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, who show up even more for our clients by attending our fundraisers like our Golden Heart Awards and our Race to Deliver, and amplifying our work to their members. Elevance is committed to Veterans care, and highlighting the work that God’s Love and other community-based organizations are doing in the field. We are inspired by this commitment, and grateful to be included in such a beautiful and honorable event.
We thank Elevance for this honor, and for their partnership.
