Introducing Our Newest Publication: Nutrition Tips for Diabetes

National Diabetes Month is a perfect time to announce the release of the newest addition to our collection of nutrition publications. At God’s Love, we are thrilled to present the publication “Nutrition Tips for Diabetes.”  Each November, health professionals bring attention to the disease that affects 30.3 million Americans, or 9.4 % of the population. Closer to home, as 40 % of our clients have diabetes, we were motivated to produce an informative booklet designed to aid both those just diagnosed, as well as, those who have had the disease for a long time.

Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists gathered and evaluated the latest research from experts in the field.  The goal was to bring practical advice to our community, with a fresh perspective.  We are proud to offer a booklet that encourages healthy living with diabetes from various angles. A range of topics including safe exercise, tips for eating out, and managing sick days are explored.   The reader will even find suggestions on meal planning, based on patterns found to be effective in managing the disease.

Why not join us during this year’s National Diabetes Month to celebrate our latest publication while we raise awareness of the disease.  Follow this link to be one of the first to view our new booklet. We believe it will serve as a great resource in arming our clients and community, with everyday tools they can use in the fight against diabetes.
