PRIDE at God’s Love We Deliver
On Sunday June 27th, God’s Love had a pride-filled celebration at our headquarters on Spring & 6th Avenue. We invited longtime supporters, donors and volunteers to be with us while we celebrated our history with the LGBTQ+ community and New York City Pride.
We were also thrilled to be part of the Pride Celebration segment on ABC Chanel 7 with our amazing hosts DJ Lina, Big Freedia and God’s Love Culinary Council member Mavis-Jay Sanders. While we danced to DJ Duron in our our 5th floor event space and DJ Lina on our rooftop, we also watched Big Freedia and Mavis-Jay decorate birthday cakes under the summer sun and joined them to dance away while ABC aired live hits of our building and celebrations. Thank you to our partners NYC Pride for putting together a fabulous event, to Big Freedia, Mavis-Jay, DJ Lina, and DJ Duron for bringing such energy and excitement, and to our volunteers and supporters who make Pride so special. Happy Pride, everyone!
