Volunteering with Chef Amanda Freitag
Every day thousands of volunteers donate their time to ensure our clients receive their medically tailored meals. Today, Chef Amanda Freitag was one of them! She spent a full day working in our three main volunteer positions to show the world that volunteering is “Easy #AF”!
Whether she was peeling, chopping, or scooping, Chef Freitag wasn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and lend a helping hand in the Kitchen. After she showed off her impressive skills, she headed down to Meal Kit Assembly to carefully pack individualized meals for our clients. Finally, Chef Freitag completed a walking delivery to nearby client, Barbara! Barbara happens to be a huge fan of Chef Freitag’s show, Chopped, and shared that she loves how creative the chefs are. A huge thank you to Chef Freitag for always going the extra mile to draw attention to God’s Love and help spread our mission.
