Welcoming New Board of Trustees Members: Maurice Brown, Jaclyn Dooner, and Gordon Stone

As we prepare to cook and home-deliver more than 4 million medically tailored meals this year, we are pleased to announce our newly elected Board of Trustees members. Please join us in welcoming Maurice Brown, Jaclyn Dooner, and Gordon Stone to our Board of Trustees!

Maurice Brown

Maurice Brown

Maurice Brown – Maurice Brown is a highly accomplished Executive with a proven track record of success in the retail industry. As the President, Group Managing Director of Ralph Lauren’s North America Large Format Stores, he leads a team responsible for managing the company’s largest volume and most profitable stores across the region. In his 10 years at Ralph Lauren, Maurice has held several key roles in the organization, including Chief Global Logistics Officer and Head of Global Business Strategy and Planning for the APAC and EMEA regions. During his time in the Asia Pacific region, he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, helping the region to cross the $1 billion revenue mark for the first time in its history.
Prior to joining Ralph Lauren, Maurice began his retail career at Equinox Fitness Clubs, where he honed his skills in retail operations and merchandise planning. He later joined
Hugo Boss, where he served as Head of the Americas Merchandise Planning group, before ultimately finding his calling in the luxury segment at Ralph Lauren. Maurice is deeply committed to using his influence to drive diversity in the corporate world, something that he has demonstrated through his founding of Ralph Lauren’s Black Advisory Council in response to the murder of George Floyd, his executive sponsorship of the Morehouse and Spelman by Ralph Lauren corporate partnership, and his mentorship of the CEO Action  Fellowship for Racial Equity. Additionally, he and his family are actively involved in local arts and charitable organizations. Looking ahead, Maurice is eager to continue pursuing his passions, using his talents to empower underrepresented youth and working to increase diversity at all levels of the corporate world.

Jaclyn Dooner

Jaclyn Dooner

Jaclyn Dooner- Jaclyn is a Brooklyn based artist and is the founding Director and Curator at Miriam Gallery. Throughout her career, Jaclyn has combined her creative skills with her passion for nonprofit and community service across numerous disciplines. Early on, she worked in advertising with premiere global brands and agencies, which ultimately contributed pivotal communication tools for her work in the arts. Her paintings has been exhibited extensively in shows and art fairs in New York, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, and Art Herning in Denmark. In 2018, she developed a Masters of Arts Residency Program at the University of Notre Dame, where she currently sits on the board, in partnership with the New York Academy of Art and the Royal Hibernian Academy. She also initiated Art Expressions, a series of arts workshops for current and former patients, their families, and caregivers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In 2019, Jaclyn founded Miriam Gallery, where practices center around collaborative engagement and inclusion.

Gordon Stone

Gordon Stone

Gordon P. Stone, III – Gordon concentrates his practice in the area of wealth transfer and income tax planning for high net worth individuals, including owners of closely-held businesses, real estate developers, investors in private equity and hedge funds, entertainers and artists. In addition to the preparation of wills and trust agreements, Gordon frequently represents fiduciaries, including individual and corporate executors and trustees, and beneficiaries in a wide variety of complex issues arising in the administration of estates and trusts. Such issues include compliance with the provisions of the governing instrument and applicable law and the preparation and settlement of the fiduciary’s account. Gordon also represents clients in connection with their pre-marital planning, including the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial agreements. Gordon is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut and frequently lectures on topics of interest related to his practice and has published articles in Estate Planning magazine and for the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants. Gordon received his JD from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1993 and his LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 1999. Gordon graduated from the University of Virginia in 1987.
