Through our new arts initiative, Arts for Love, God’s Love We Deliver will harness the transformative power of creativity to support our mission of nourishing and healing some of the most vulnerable New Yorkers – those living with severe illness who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves. By engaging artists, gallerists, collectors, curators, and supporters, we leverage the impact of the NYC Art World to raise awareness, volunteerism and vital funds that enable us to provide nutritious meals that heal—delivered with love.
God’s Love We Deliver was founded in 1985 as a response to the AIDS pandemic, we now serve people living with more than 220different diagnoses. God’s Love addresses food and nutrition insecurity, and supports the health and well-being of their clients, by providing ongoing nutrition assessment, education, and counseling, advocating for food and nutrition support, and delivering medically tailored meals. God’s Love is a non-sectarian organization serving individuals living with illness, and their children and caregivers. With a community of thousands of volunteers, we home-delivered more than 4 million medically tailored meals to nearly 15,000 clients, children and caregivers. All services are free to clients and delivered full of love.
God’s Love We Deliver success is grounded in it’s passionate and knowledgeable staff that are committed to our mission. Also critical to it’s success is our association and support from the bedrock industries unique to New York City, including the Fashion Industry, Icons of the Performing Arts, Wall Street, the Music Industry and of course all the individuals that recognize the importance of a healthier New York City community. Notable leaders representing their sector include Joan Rivers (In Memorium), Melissa Rivers, Michael Kors, Anna Wintour, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Neil Patrick Harris, John Idol and Hugh Jackman.
