Eric Ragone, Major Gifts Officer – Capital Campaign

As a Major Gifts Officer for the Capital Campaign, Eric works with donors to craft a meaningful giving experience that advances their philanthropy and ushers in the next chapter of God’s Love We Deliver. Eric primarily works with donors on capital gifts to build out and operationalize the agency’s third facility, located at Liberty Brooklyn (Sunset Park), providing operational autonomy and efficiency for the agency to sustain future growth and deliver the best service to clients.

 

Prior to joining God’s Love We Deliver, Eric was a Director on the UBS Social Impact team, supporting business development efforts for the firm’s Family Advisory and Philanthropy Services offering. In this role, Eric supported private wealth advisors and high net worth clients on family philanthropy and intergenerational wealth transition matters. Eric also managed a client giving circle, coordinated bespoke client events, and oversaw data and financial reporting on the team’s offering. Prior to joining UBS, Eric was a Senior Analyst on the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team at Goldman Sachs. His role included oversight of community relations programs with nonprofit and government partners, as well as environmental initiatives related to renewable energy, conservation efforts, and green buildings.

Eric started his career as an AmeriCorps member with Bottom Line, a national nonprofit organization supporting low-income, first-generation students get into college, graduate, and navigate their careers. In his role, he supported the organization’s national office development team and c-suite with grant writing, new site expansion research, and alternative revenue strategy. Since his AmeriCorps term, Eric continues to support Bottom Line as a member of the organization’s New York Associate Board chapter, previously serving as Development Chair. Eric also volunteers as a Digital Crisis Counselor with The Trevor Project, a crisis intervention hotline for LGBTQ+ youth.

Eric is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, specializing in Public Policy. Eric graduated with honors from Villanova University with a degree in Finance and dual minors in Data Analytics and Real Estate. He holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation from the American College of Financial Services, and is a 21/64 Certified Family Advisor. Eric also holds FINRA General Securities & Investment Advisor Representative licenses (Series 7 and Series 66).
