At God’s Love We Deliver, we are profoundly grateful for the Secunda Family Foundation and our dedicated trustee, Cindy Secunda, for their extraordinary generosity and unwavering commitment to our mission. Today, we celebrate a landmark moment—a $10 million pledge from the Secunda Family Foundation to sustain our programs and expand our reach.
This transformational gift will ensure $2 million in annual support for years 10-14 of our signature Love Rocks NYC concert, a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts.
Since 2021, the Secunda Family Foundation has been a steadfast partner, helping us provide medically tailored meals and critical nutrition therapy to New Yorkers living with severe and chronic illnesses. Over the past four years, their support has enabled us to grow our capacity to meet rising needs, especially during the challenges of the pandemic.
Together, we’ve served more than 13 million meals to nearly 29,500 individuals, including those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and other life-altering diagnoses. These meals are more than sustenance—they’re life-saving interventions that nourish our clients and their families.
Thanks to their support, we’ve launched initiatives like Healthy Starts, promoting equity in maternal health, and expanded our Food-as-Medicine model to reach underserved populations.
The impact has been extraordinary: participants in our caregiver support program have seen significant health improvements, with a 60% reduction in urgent care visits and a 65% reduction in hospital admissions.
Looking ahead, the Secunda Family Foundation’s leadership will allow us to continue innovating, growing, and ensuring that no New Yorker facing illness and food insecurity is left behind. Their generosity embodies the power of community, compassion, and a shared belief in the life-changing impact of food.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank Cindy Secunda, Tom Secunda, and the Secunda Family Foundation for believing in our mission and helping us deliver hope, dignity, and nourishment to those who need it most. Together, we are building a healthier, stronger, and more united New York City.
