The holiday season kicked off in style this weekend at the 9th Annual Young Hearts Cookie Decorating Party. Over 150 guests joined us for hot cocoa, holiday tunes, and the sweet stylings of Culinary Council members Chefs Lauren Radel and Amanda Freitag, who proved they know their way around a piping bag!
Young Hearts kids eagerly dove into the mountains of sprinkles and oodles of decorations, designing delicious delicacies and reveling in the holiday spirit. We witnessed ambitious feats of frosting engineering amid record-setting sugar highs! It was truly a cookie-palooza.
Through it all, the Young Hearts mission shone brightly. We aim to harness the joy of youth to power the LOVE of God’s Love We Deliver through service and philanthropy all year round. Thank you, Young Hearts, for the joy you infuse into our work!
Special thanks to Young Hearts Leadership Council and Culinary Council members Chef Lauren Radel and Amanda Freitag.
